The long-awaited sequel The Old Guard 2 , starring Charlize Theron as an immortal warrior, premieres July 2nd on Netflix.

We knew the sequel to the 2020 hit was finally on its way after The Old Guard 2 did some additional photography in Vancouver last October, , two years after principal photography wrapped in Rome.

Charlize Theron, Kik Layne, Matthias Schoenaerts, Chiwetel Ejiofo and Henry Golding were spotted in town, with new addition Uma Thurman meeting with fans at the Holy Rosary Cathedral in downtown Vancouver.
Will the five-year wait be worth it? Netflix released a behind-the-scenes sneak peek today of “insane action, “new faces” and “one shocking return”.
What’s The Old Guard 2 about?
Andy (Charlize Theron) and her team of immortal warriors continue their mission to protect humanity. This time, they have to face off against a formidable new foe who threatens the very fabric of the Old Guard, while also dealing with the return of an immortal who was thought to be long lost.
Cast and Characters:
Charlize Theron is Andromache of Scythia, aka Andy; Kik Layne is Nice; Marwan Kenzari and Luca Marinell, are star-crossed lovers Joe and Nicky and Matthias Schoenaerts is the loyalty-challenged Booker. Chiwetel Ejiofo is the undying crew’s handler Copley. Veronica Ngô has a bigger role as Andy’s ex-teammate Quynh. And Uma Thurman and Henry Golding are playing undisclosed roles.
