Fire Country spinoff Sheriff Country starring Morena Baccarin, and parent show Fire Country starring Max Thieriot will air back-to-back on Fridays this Fall on CBS.
Sheriff Country follows straight-shooting Sheriff Mickey Fox (Morena Baccarin), the stepsister of Cal Fire’s Sharon Leone, (Diane Farr), who investigates criminal activity as she patrols the streets of small-town Edgewater while contending with her ex-con father (W. Earl Brown) and a mysterious incident involving her wayward daughter.

Last year] we announced that we were picking up Sheriff Country to series [for 2025-26]. They start production next week, we have been promoting the show for months, we have 12 scripts banked, and we have a ton of efficiencies for production, scheduling, etc. —
Unlike Fire Country, the spinoff will film in Toronto..
