A24 horror flick Backrooms, directed by Kane Parsons from his viral YouTube series of an unsettlingly empty yellow office space in the 1990s which may be home to otherworldly beings, is shooting in Vancouver.
Chiwetel Ejiofor will star in the movie. Cristin Milioti was in early talks to co-star but Renate Reinsve is now confirmed, although maybe not as the female lead .
After her patient disappears into a strange dimension beyond reality a therapist is forced to brave the unknown in order to bring him back alive.
