Production was also spotted lighting up Beaver Lake in Stanley Park for filming last night.
What’s Trinity about?
As geopolitical tensions rise toward crisis point, a heroic US Navy Commander (Gugu Mbatha-Raw) becomes involved with the enigmatic Secretary of Defense (Richard Maddien), only to learn he may be at the center of a dangerous conspiracy.
Gugu Mbatha-Raw, best known for her roles in The Morning Show, Loki and Surface (which shot season one in Vancouver), plays Commander Katherine Decker, second-in-command on the nuclear submarine USS Kansas.
Richard Madden, best known for his roles in Game of Thrones, Bodyguard, Eternals and Citadel, plays the tech savvy Secretary of Defence Webb Preston.
Other Characters:
Marcia Gay Harden as Margaret Vandenburg, the CEO and matriarch of her family’s business empire, guiding them to become a prominent family with political ties.
JD Pardo as Tom Reyes, a Lieutenant Commander in the US Navy.
Bruce Greenwood as Special Agent Eric Colby; Robert Wisdom as Admiral Griff Tatum; Kirk Acevedo as Captain Jock Campbell; Ben Cotton as Special Agent Jake Ryan; James Remar as President Paul Barnard; Jason Ralph as Brooks Vandenburg; Mark O’Brien as Dr. Brian York.
Trinity comes from the brilliant mind of Jed Mercurio , the creator of such hit Brit thrillers as Line of Duty, Bodyguard (which starred Richard Madden) and Bodies.
