Star Trek: Starfleet Academy, which takes place in the 32nd Century not the halcyon days of the Federation, shares a first look at the new Chancellor and the first class of cadets in 120 years, as well as some returning faces from the Star Trek Universe.

Star Trek: Starfleet Academy will introduce us to a young group of cadets who come together to pursue a common dream of hope and optimism.
Under the watchful and demanding eyes of their instructors, they will discover what it takes to become Starfleet officers as they navigate blossoming friendships, explosive rivalries, first loves and a new enemy that threatens both the Academy and the Federation itself.

The academy set in Toronto is the largest single set ever created for a Star Trek series.
A mammoth two-storey Starfleet Academy set — with a mess hall, amphitheatre, trees, catwalks, multiple classrooms and a view of San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge — will be constructed in a single contiguous space on Pinewood Toronto’s 45,900 square foot soundstage, the largest in Canada, reports Variety in its Star Trek cover story.
