Vancouver crime caper Wild Cards, starring Vanessa Morgan as con-woman Max Mitchell and Giacomo Gianniotti as cop Cole Ellis, will be back in production on season 3. in late August.
A spirited con woman and a demoted by-the-book detective are given the chance to redeem themselves. The catch? They must find a way to work together each using their unique skills to solve crimes.
How did season 2 end?
After confronting his brother Daniel’s killer and uncovering Police Commissioner Russo’s complicity, Ellis is put on leave from the force while an official investigation gets underway. Ellis invites Max on a trip away from Vancouver aboard his house boat., but Max is busy solving con-man Ashford’s .puzzle.
Max, her father George and Ricky eventually succeed in getting access to Ashford’s $100 million legacy but just as Max is about to leave to join Ellis, her mother shows up at the door.
Ellis leaves at dawn without her.
