Vanessa Hudgens has wrapped filming thriller Quiet Storm: about a novelist in the summer of 1969 trapped in a house during the Gulf Coast’s infamous Hurricane Camille.
A once-prominent novelist (Vanessa Hudgens) becomes trapped in a house in 1969 with her estranged husband and a group of roommates as the most powerful hurricane in history approaches.
Production began in Vancouver in June, with a farm house in Langley playing the house.
Cast and crew also filmed at Riverview in Coquitlam.
Quiet Storm marks the directorial debut of Anthony Thorne and explores such 1960s themes as Women’s Liberation and the Black Panther movement.
