Netflix rom-com The Bodyguard, starring Jared Padalecki as a famous movie star and Leighton Meester as his bodyguard, is filming in Calgary and Vancouver this Winter.
Adapted from Katherine Center’s novel, the movie switches the locale of the book from a ranch in Texas to a ranch in Montana.
The Bodyguard follows a movie star (Jared Padalecki) who is assigned a bodyguard (Leighton Meester) as he is being stalked. However, when the actor returns to his family’s home for the holidays, he has the bodyguard pretend to be his girlfriend so his family doesn’t worry.
