Netflix renewed its BC-filmed hit show Untamed for season 2, but with Eric Bana’s special agent Kyle Turner investigating a new mystery in a new American national park.

And it looks like production will not return to British Columbia (which played Yosemite National Park) because the new national park is in Hawaii.
Showrunners Mark L. Smith and Ellie Smith told Tuduum .that it’s common for real-life investigative service branch agents in the National Parks Service to travel from park to park.
The season 2 national park won’t be the first park Turner’s been in since Yosemite. He’ll have been busy taking a lot of different cases in a lot of different parks but the season 2 park will be far more “impactful”.

But the next park won’t be the same as Yosemite which he knew so well and felt comfortable leading the investigation despite the challenges. He’ll be on his “back foot” in the new park and will have to find his way like Lily Santiago’s new park ranger Naya Vasquez did in Yosemite in season one.

Untamed debuted at #1 on Netflix’s Top 10 Shows list,, with 24.6 million views and 119.5 million hours watched for the week.
In week 2 of release, Untamed remained #1, with 26.1 million views and 127.1 million hours watched.
