In season 4, the introduction of Edgewater high school teacher Chloe McKenzie’ (Alona Tal) and her troubled teen Tyler (Connor Sherry) is about more than a possible love interest for Bode.
We meet Tyler first, when Bode (Max Thieriot) and Jake (Jordan Calloway) respond to a call from a runaway teen who’s fallen through the floor at a condemned building.
Afterwards, Tyler’s Mom is not available so Bode talks to Tyler’s stepfather Landon (Josh McDermitt) instead.
Bode quickly becomes Tyler’s mentor and the teen agrees to participate in Bode’s drunk-driving drill at the high school.l. This is where Bode reconnects with his old math tutor and secret crush Chloe McKenzie, who turns out to be Tyler’s Mom.
Then the story takes a sharp turn. After Bode stops stepfather Landon from beating Tyler, the boy tells his new mentor that Landon could be the Zabel Ridge arsonist — the person ultimately responsible for the death of Bode’s Dad.
What’s Season 4 about?:
Season 4 is about Station 42 facing the impact of the loss of Bode’s Dad –Cal Fire Battalion chief Vince Leone (Billy Burke) — in the Zabel Ridge fire that engulfed the Edgewater memory care centre.
