Disney+’s season 2 premiere of Percy jackson and the Olympians features a big set piece filmed in downtown Vancouver ,with Walker Scobell as Percy, Leah Sava Jeffries as Annabeth and 6’5″ newcomer Daniel Diemer as the one-eyed cyclops Tyson.

Crew dressed a few blocks of West Hastings Street in downtown Vancouver as New York City for this sequence of the Gray Sisters yellow cab seemingly about to run down Percy.
Tyson lifts up Percy and puts him over his shoulder to keep him safe.
But they are surprised when Annabeth gets out of the cab and reveals herself.

She’s come to take Percy back to Camp Half-Blood which is in danger of being attacked.
The cab, operated by the three Gray Sisters played by Margaret Cho as Wasp, Sandra Bernhard as Anger and Kristen Schaal as Tempest, is the fastest, if not the safest way, to get there.

Season 2:
In season 2 of Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Percy (Walker Scobell) returns to Camp Half-Blood one year later to find his world turned upside down. His friendship with Annabeth (Leah Sava Jeffries) is changing, he learns he has a cyclops half-brother named Tyson (Daniel Diemer), Grover (Aryan Simhadri) has gone missing, and the camp is under siege from the forces of Kronos. Percy’s journey to set things right will take him into the deadly Sea of Monsters to retrieve the Golden Fleece that will save Thalia’s tree, which protects the borders of the camp.
