Joining lead Kaitlyn Dever as Washington Liberation Front (WLF) leader Abby in season 3 of HBO’s The Last of Us are Jorge Lendeborg Jr. as the new Manny and Clea DuVall as a Seraphite.
Danny Ramirez, who played Manny in season 2 is not returning because of scheduling conflicts.
Sadly, Canadian icon Catherine P’Hara won’t be returning either. She died unexpectedly last week. Pedro Pascal paid tribute:
Oh, genius to be near you. Eternally grateful. There is less light in my world, this lucky world that had you, will keep you, always. Always ♥️

The third and potentially final season starts production this March in Vancouver.
The Last of Us takes place 20+ years after modern civilization has been destroyed by the Cordyceps fungal pandemic.
In season one, Joel (Pedro Pascal), a hardened survivor, was hired to smuggle Ellie (Bella Ramsey), a 14-year-old girl, out of an oppressive quarantine zone. What started as a small job soon became a brutal and heartbreaking journey as they traversed the U.S. and depended on each other for survival.
Season 2 picked up five years after the events of the first season, with Joel and Ellie living in Jackson, Wyoming but estranged by a lie. Joel’s brutal death at the hands of former Firefly Abby sent Ellie to Seattle on a path of vengeance against Abby and her WLF crew.
Season 3 will change perspective, following Abby on her journey to a confrontation with Ellie.

The fans are really going to like it, I think, the shifting perspective onto Abby, getting some more context onto her storyline and going back in time with this season. — — Kaitlyn Dever to Deadline: Hollywood.
