
Season 2 of Netflix’s BC-filmed live-action adaption of Avatar: The Last Airbender takes our heroes to the Earth Kingdom.
Crew built an outside Asian palace set and village set on an epic scale at the Flavelle Mill backlot in Port Moody in 2024, adapting and expanding Shogun’s existing feudal Japan set.

What is season 2 about?

In Season 2, after a bittersweet victory saving the Northern Water Tribe from the invading Fire Nation, Aang (Gordon Cormier), Katara (Kiawentiio) and Sokka (Ian Ousley) regroup and set off on a mission to convince the elusive Earth King to aid in their battle against fearsome Fire Lord Ozai (Daniel Dae Kim).
