Hot hockey romance Off Campus — about college hockey player love lives — is a big hit for Prime Video with 36 million viewers worldwide in season one’s first 12 days of release.
(Caveat – we don’t know how much of the series people watched to count as a viewer, but the opening shower scene probably hooked several).
The largely unknown Off Campus cast have become instant celebrities — especially leads Belmont Cameli, who plays the Briar U hockey captain Garrett Graham and Ella Bright, who is his “opposites attract” romantic partner Hannah Wells.
While this cast’s fame is not at the level of the Heated Rivalry frenzy, Mika Abdalla who plays Hannah’s best friend Allie recently got papped in L.A. walking her dog.
Off Campus is adapted from Canadian Elle Kennedy’s best-selling books about college hockey stars and the young women in their lives,

Briar U hockey hunks — Belmont Cameli as Garret Graham, Stephen Kalyn as Dean Heyward-Di Laurentis, Antonio Cipriano as John Logan & Jalen Thomas Brook as John Tucker.
In a departure from the books, Dean has a fling with his future significant other Allie in season one, but their relationship will continue to develop.

And Logan will meet his significant other Grace Ivers (India Fowler) in season 2, which goes into production next week in Vancouver.

Off Campus turned parts of the University of British Columbia campus into the fictional Briar University in season one. These locations might be overrun in season 2 because of the popularity of the series.
From students on the steps of the UBC Main Library and hockey scenes at the Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre, home to the UBC Thunderbirds hockey teams.
