
Prime Video officially renewed its hit series Reacher, starring Alan Ritchson, for season 5 ahead of its season 4 premiere later this year.

Production on season 5 is expected to start this July in Toronto under the working title HONCHO.
What’s Reacher about?
After leaving the US Army as a major in its military police, Jack Reacher (Alan Ritchson) roams the United States taking odd jobs and investigating suspicious and frequently dangerous situations.
Adaptions so far:
Season 1 adapted the first novel in the Lee Child series titled The Killing Floor which introduces us to Reacher in civilian life. He travels to a small town in Georgia where he discovers the place is a cesspool of corruption.
Season 2 adapted the 11th book titled Bad Luck and Trouble about members of Reacher’s old military unit turning up dead — –, with the setting changed to New York and Atlantic City to better suit Toronto production.
Season 3 adapted the 7th novel titled Persuader about Reacher going undercover to rescue an agent at a heavily-guarded Maine mansion, where he meets his match – the 7’2″ Paulie – and confronts a foe from his past.
Season 4 adapted the 13th novel titled Gone Tomorrow, which opens with Jack Reacher travelling on a subway at 2 am – before everything goes to hell.
