But Soldier Boy had had enough.

If Soldier Boy hadn’t called Homelander “son” as he walked out, Homelander might have let him go. Instead he choked out his father and put him back in cryo-statis.
We won’t see Soldier Boy again until next year’s big debut of the prequel series Vought Rising.
And there will be a “few surprises and tricks up our sleeve in V Rising”, The Boys showrunner Eric Kripke told Deadline: Hollywood.
Some speculate Vought Rising will be set in two timelines — the past when Vought creates Supes and the post-Homelander present.
