Popular romance Sullivan’s Crossing, starring Morgan Kohan and Chad Michael Murray, was officially renewed for its fifth season of filming in Nova Scotia at the Bell Media Upfront.
Adapted from the same best-selling author Robyn Carr as Netflix’s hit romance Virgin River, Sullivan’s Crossing follows neurosurgeon Maggie Sullivan (Morgan Kohan), who returns to her hometown in rural Nova Scotia after a scandal. There she meets and is attracted to Cal Jones (Chad Michael Murray). The latest obstacle to their happily ever after was the surprise return of Maggie’s “husband” Liam (Marcus Rosner) to the Crossing.
How did Season 4 end?
The season four finale saw the Maggie and Liam storyline mostly wrapped up which should allow Cal and Maggie to find their way back to each other.
Cal and Maggie shippers on Reddit called season 4 the “flop” season until the finale — upset about this new character Liam coming between their favourite couple.
Where is Sully?
Sully left for Ireland to start a new chapter in his life.after Scott Patterson asked to be let out of his contract, not liking the direction his character was going in.
