Reacher, starring Alan Ritchson as the Big Guy, is so popular that Prime Video has renewed it for season six before season five — currently filming in Toronto — even premieres.
After leaving the US Army as a major in its military police, Jack Reacher (Alan Ritchson) roams the United States taking odd jobs and investigating suspicious and frequently dangerous situations.
Season 4, which dropped its finale just 12 days ago, was one of Prime’s most-watched series, with 66 million views worldwide for the first seven of eight episodes. Seasons 2, 4 and 3 (in that order) are among the most-watched seasons of any Prime original series.
Reacher – Season 4
Season 4 adapted the 13th novel in the Lee Child series titled Gone Tomorrow, which opens with Jack Reacher travelling on a subway at 2 am – before everything goes to hell.
Much of the action takes place in Phildelphia (a change from the New York setting in the book) and that’s where Reacher production started for a few days before getting underway in Toronto.

Season 5 is adapting the 20th novel in the Lee Child series titled Make Me, with Reacher arriving in a remote town called Mother’s Rest, where he teams up with a private investigaortto expose a dark web conspiracy catering to rich, depraved clients..

Production on the new season got underway last July in Toronto and is expected to wrap in early December.
