LEGENDS OF TOMORROW Cancelled After 7 Seasons of Filming in Vancouver
Will miss those crazy misfit time-hopping Legends.
Legends of Tomorrow has been cancelled after seven seasons of filming in Vancouver.
Caity Lotz’s Sara Lance is the last of the OG Legends.
I’m going to miss it so much. I’m going to miss our amazing cast and crew. But at the same time I recognize how lucky I have been to play Sara Lance for this long. Working on Legends has been amazing. It’s been such a journey and I am so endlessly grateful for it, and for you guys. So, thank you. To all the Legends of Tomorrow fans out there, we love you guys so much. And it has been a blast. — Caity Lotz in her Instagram stories.
Lotz’s Sara Lance/White Canary reunited with other OGs in the 100th episode.
The news came just hours after The CW informed sister show Batwoman that it wouldn’t be renewed after three seasons of filming in Vancouver.

Legends Co-Showrunner: Keto Shimizu.
Well, folks. It’s been an incredible run. However, the CW has let us know that there will be no season 8 of #LegendsOfTomorrow. We are heartbroken, but also immensely grateful for the amazing work our cast, crew, and writers have contributed to the little show that could.

In the 100th episode, new cast met old cast.
Legends of Tomorrow season 7 ended with Nate Heywood/Steel’s retirement and a cliffhanger — the introduction of Donald Faison’s Booster Gold and the arrest of the Legends for time crimes.
The cliffhanger isn’t the CW’s fault. It’s mine. I played chicken with the pickup, and lost. Hopefully the story can continue in another form. TV movie? Comic book? Radio play?

Co-showrunner Keto Shimizu. says the cliffhanger was a gamble that didn’t pay off so I’m going to imagine the Legends all happy in their retirement, but with the real Alun.
