Apple TV+’s Murderbot, starring Alexander Skarsgård ‘as a rogue security android who would rather watch futuristic soap operas than protect humans, is moving production from Toronto to Europe for season 2.

Filming is expected to take place in Madrid, Spain and Dublin, Ireland.
Murderbot centers on a self-hacking security android (Alexander Skarsgård) who is horrified by human emotion yet drawn to its vulnerable clients. Murderbot must hide its free will and complete a dangerous assignment when all it really wants is to be left alone to watch futuristic soap operas and figure out its place in the universe.
