Michael Huisman joins season 3 of AMC series Anne Rice’s The Mayfair Witches filming in Vancouver.
Huisman plays a carpenter who built an inn that he runs himself. Though he hides a dark secret, his carefully constructed life begins to crumble when he falls in love with Alexandra Daddario’s Rowan.

Neurosurgeon Rowan Fielding (Alexandra Daddario) discovers she is the unlikely heir to a family of witches
Alexandra Daddario’s Rowen Fielding, Harry Hamlin’s Cortiand Mayfair, Tongayi Chirisa’s Ciprien Grieve and Alyssa Jirrels’s Moira Mayfair all returned for season 3. but Jack Huston’s Lasher has not.
Betsy Brandt is the other major addition to season 3, playing a character named Katherine.
How did season 2 end?
Julien (Ted Levine) and the Scottish Mayfairs hatched a plan to kill Lasher (Jack Huston), drink his blood and inherit his power. Julien then betrayed the other Scottish Mayfairs in a bid to keep all of Lasher’s power for himself.
Julian almost succeeded but Rowan drank from the cup too, hoping to gain enough power to bring back Lasher.
We left Rowan standing outside her faded New Orleans family home.. She has transgressed by drinking Lasher’s blood and is more powerful as a result so s.he’s not going to back down from a battle with Julian.
