
The Last of Us season 2’s stunt ensemble is nominated for an Actor Award for astonishing stunts like the massive horde of Infected which attacked fortified Jackson in a snowstorm .

It didn’t seem possible that the HBO adaption could top season one’s award-winning stunts but the siege of Jackson and other season two stunts were even more epic.

How The Battle of Jackson Was Filmed :
Episode 2, directed by Emmy-winning Mark Mylod., took more than a month and a half to shoot in February , March and April 2024.

The battle sequence itself needed nearly four weeks of filming — broken into chunks — on the big Jackson set built on a gravel pit off the Sea to Sky Highway north of Vancouver.
Dozens of stunt performers, 100 Extras with prosthetics and 100s of digitally-added .Infected made up the horde of 1000 on screen, reports Vulture..
