Most-Watched Movies:
#1 Kpop Demon Hunters broke Netflix records as the global streamer’s most-watched title ever over a six-month period with 482 million views and 802,6 million hours watched.
#3 Coming in third was monster performer Frankenstein, Guillermo del Toro’s long-gestating adaption of the Mary Shelley classic, with 98 million views and 247.3 million hours watched.
Frankenstein split production between Toronto, with its giant outdoor ship set at Cherry Point, and Scotland with its gothic houses.
#12 The Wrong Paris
58 million views and 103.4 million hours watched.
Most-Watched Shows:
Wednesday season 2 topped the most-watched shows in the back half. with 124 million views and 964.1 million hours watched.
But the return of Stranger Things for a fifth and final season dominated the pop culture conversation and the charts — with season 5 at #2 with 94 million views and all five seasons combined tallying 275 million views.
#3 The surprise performer is American national park mystery series Untamed with 93 million views. and 451.6 million hours watched.
Various locations in British Columbia played Yosemite National Park.
Season 2 of Untamed is expected to shoot in Hawaii with Eric Bana’s special agent Kyle Turner investigating a new mystery in a new American national park.
#15 Wayward
39.8 million views and 236.3 million hours watched.
Close behind is season 2 of Alberta-filmed My Life With the Walter Boys with 39 million views.
