Season 2 of Prime Video’s upcoming Off Campus series — about college hockey player love lives — is shooting in Vancouver this summer.
Gay hockey romance Heated Rivalry’s breakout success has led to a demand for hockey player romances of all kinds. Prime renewed Off Campus before season one even premieres this May.
Off Campus explores the romances of the Briar University hockey team and the partners who shake up their lives. The show will focus on a new love story every season as these characters experience the ups and downs of love, friendship, and the complexities of young adulthood.

Adapted from Canadian Elle Kennedy’s best-selling books about college hockey stars and the young women in their lives, Off Campus turned parts of the University of British Columbia into the fictional Briar University.
Off Campus season one’s adaption of The Deal follows the unlikely romance between Briar University’s playboy star centre Garrett (Belmont Cameli) and wry, hockey-hating music major Hannah (Ella Bright). Garrett’s love rival is Hannah’s crush, college rock band singer Justin (Josh Heuston).
Steve Howey is Garrett’s Dad Phil Graham, a former hockey legend famous for his temper on the ice who pushes his son to be the star player he is.
Like the Bridgerton series, each book tells a different hockey player’s love story, with the other characters in the background.
Book # 1 The Deal is about Garrett (Belmont Cameli) and Hannah (Ella Bright); Book #2 The Mistake is about Logan (Antonio Cipriano); Book #3 The Score is about Dean (Stephen Kalyn) and Allie (Mika Abdalia); Book #4 The Goal is about Tucker (Jalen Thomas Brooks); and Book #5 The Legacy is about all four couples.
