That’s a wrap forJared Padalecki on Netflix rom-com Guarding Stars in Calgary.
Guarding stars follows a movie star (Jared Padalecki) who is assigned a bodyguard (Leighton Meester) as he is being stalked. However, when the actor returns to his family’s home for the holidays, he has the bodyguard pretend to be his girlfriend so his family doesn’t worry.

The movie filmed in Calgary in two tranches — one in December and the other in February/March.
Adapted from Katherine Center’s novel The Bodyguard, the movie switches the locale of the book from a ranch in Texas to a ranch in Montana.
