Acclaimed Sinners and Black Panther filmmaker Ryan Coogler’s reimagining of sci-fi classic The X-Files for Hulu is filming its pilot in Vancouver this May.
Two highly decorated but vastly different FBI agents form an unlikely bond when they are assigned to a long-shuttered division devoted to cases involving unexplained phenomena.
Coogler wrote and is directing the pilot with Danielle Deadwyler cast as one of the two co-leads.
The X-Files creator Chris Carter is an executive producer of the potential new series.
