FIRE COUNTRY Back in Production This June With Season 5 in BC

The shortened season 5 of northern California firefighter drama Fire Country, starring Max Thieriot, is back in production this June in British Columbia.

With a reduced 13 episodes and a new showrunner. Tia Napolitano has left after four seasons.

Season 2 of its popular spinoff Sheriff Country, starring Morena Baccarin, will get a full season of 20 episodes to shoot in Ontario.

Both shows air Friday nights in CBS’s Country block and take place in the; fictional town of Edgewater,,California.

What’s Fire Country about?

Former convict Bode Leone (Max Thieriot) is now one of Cal Fire Station 42’s elite fire fighters, battling blazes in his hometown of Edgewater.alongside family, friends and the Three Rock inmate fire fighting program that gave him a path to redemption.

What was Season 4 about?

Season 4 started with Station 42 facing the impact of the loss of Bode’s Dad –Cal Fire Battalion chief Vince Leone (Billy Burke) — in the Zabel Ridge fire that engulfed the Edgewater memory care centre.

Season 4 ends with our firefighters battling floodwaters in Edgewater.

After a catastrophic dam failure unleashes historic floodwaters across Edgewater, Station 42 and Three Rock battle rising waters and dwindling resources.
