Prime’s latest YA series Sterling Point, starring Ella Rubin as a Manhattan teen who inherits a Canadian Island in Muskoka Lakes region, premieres.
Seventeen-year-old Annie (Ella Rubin) leads a perfect, privileged life in New York City, but her life with her widowed adoptive father (Jay Duplass) and her twin brother (Keen Ruffalo) is thrown off-course when she inherits a charming Canadian island from her late grandfather. She decides to go to Sterling Point to uncover the mystery, meeting a bunch of new friends and faces along the way.

Creator Megan Park, who grew up summering in the Muskoka Lakes region two hours north of Toronto, wanted to set a series there to show how cottage life is a big part of Canadian culture.
Sterling Point filmed in the Muskokas and in Toronto as New York City.
