In real-life, four Flat Earthers travelled with four Globe Earthers (see NASA jacket) to Antartica in December 2024 for The Final Experiment. The Flat Earthers expected to debunk claims of a 24-hour sun. The group live-streamed the event and one Flat Earther admitted he was wrong about the earth being flat but the wider community rejected the evidence, claiming it was faked and part of a larger conspiracy.
