Run-and-yoga scenes are a Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce staple. It was the men’s turn yesterday afternoon with brothers-in-law Jake (Paul Adelstein) and Max (Patrick Heusinger) doing an extended one in a Los Angeles park (Burnaby’s Glenlyon Urban Trail)
From showrunner Marti Noxon and based on books by Vicki Iovine, Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce is a contemporary and fun take on a woman tackling life in Los Angeles as a single Mom in her early forties with the help of her girlfriends after her husband hooks up with a younger CW actress. In the season one finale, Abby McCarthy (Lisa Edelstein) and Jake (Paul Adelstein) reconciled, calling off the divorce. But that will be undone by the unexpected pregnancy of Jake’s CW actress ex-girlfriend.
The Bravo dramedy started filming its second season on Monday and is expected to shoot in Glenlyon Business Park through Friday at its school set — Center for Expanding Horizons — in the former Nokia building.

In a potentially hilarious twist, some Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce and Fear the Walking Dead backgrounders showed up at each other’s locations in the biz park. Crossover: zombies do yoga and date younger.
