PROMOS: ONCE UPON A TIME 2×12 In the Name of the Brother Photos – Updated

Dr. Victor Frankenstein (David Anders)’s black-and-white world of horrors returns in flashbacks on next Sunday’s Once Upon a Time, as he tries to convince his father Alphonse (Gregory Itzin) that he can resurrect the dead. Does this have something to do with the doctor’s brother (Chad Michael Collins)? Meanwhile, in present-day Storybrooke, Dr. Whale (also David Anders) must perform surgery on the Outsider (Ethan Embrey) who crashed across the town border at the end of last night’s episode. What’s to be done with him?

Here’s the ABC logline:

While Dr. Whale treats the outsider, the townspeople decide what to do with the man who may know Storybrooke’s secret. Meanwhile, Cora meets with her daughter and Gold tries to meet with Belle. In another world, Victor tries to convince his father Alphonse that he can bring back the dead.

And here are some promo stills of Rumple/Mr. Gold (Robert Carlyle), Snow/Mary Margaret (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Charming/David (Josh Dallas) at the Storybrooke border trying to comfort a frightened Belle (Emilie de Ravin) with no memories of any of them.

PROMOS: ONCE UPON A TIME 2×11 The Outsider – Updated

Whatever else happens next Sunday on Once Upon a Time, it’s a Rumple vs Hook showdown on Hook’s pirate ship in the Storybrooke harbour with Belle watching as Rumple adminsters a beat-down with his cane. But later, when Rumple finds a way to cross the town line without losing his memory of Bae — “Now you can find your son, ” says Belle  — a bloodied Hook, holding a gun, is having none of it — “I wouldn’t count on it,” he tells Rumple. This is what I’ve been waiting for since The Crocodile episode showed us their backstory.

SHOOT: Who’s Holding a Gun on RED WIDOW Mob Boss Goran Visnjic at Guiness Tower?

Who’s holding a gun on Goran Visnjic (ER)’s Russian mob boss Nicholae Schiller at the Guiness Tower in downtown Vancouver for the final episode of Red Widow’s first set of eight? Telling would ruin the surprise. Inspired by a popular Dutch TV series, Red Widow is an upcoming ABC series about San Francisco widow Marta Walraven forced to replace her mobster husband as head of a crime syndicate after his murder in order to protect her family: sons Gabriel and Boris and daughter Natalie. The series wraps its initial order of eight episodes at the end of the week with the option of more after it premieres next year.

PHOTO RECAP: ONCE UPON A TIME’s Storybrooke Scenes in 2×02 We Are Both

We Are Both opens with the Seven Dwarfs testing the Storybrooke town limits and discovering that if one of them crosses the border their cursed self becomes their only self, as Sneezy forgets he was ever a Dwarf.

Next we see the damage the Wraith caused in Storybrooke in an overhead pan of downed telephone poles, blownout windows, overturned cars and uprooted pavement, filmed on Moncton Street in Steveston south of Vancouver.

And we see a populace in relief mode, handing out blankets, bottles of water and toilet paper at the Storybrooke Town Hall, filmed in Fort Langley.

Charming/David (Josh Dallas) takes charge at the Storybrooke Town Hall, promising his grandson Henry (Jared Gilmore) and everyone else that he will come up with a plan to fix everything, but he’s really more concerned with finding a way to get back his wife and daughter — Snow White and Emma Swan — who fell through a portal opened by a magic hat in the season premiere.

SHOOT: RED WIDOW’s Radha Mitchell & Lee Tergesen Filming in Yaletown Townhouse – Updated

Midseason ABC series Red Widow started filming its first episode as a series today in a Yaletown townhouse opposite George Weinborn Park. Mob widow Radha Mitchell emerged from the townhouse after some scenes and chatted a bit with co-star Lee Tergesen while waiting for a ride back to circus under the Granville Bridge. She then waved off her star car and clambered into the one of the vans.

But it seemed a bit early in the series for Lee Tergesen’s mob foot soldier Mike Tomlin to be strangling Radha Mitchell’s mob widow Marta Walraven, even in practice.  I’m sure it’s just the angle of my photograph.
