In tonight’s flashback, we learn that Rumplestiltskin (Robert Carlyle) takes back his son Baelfire (Dylan Schmid) from Peter Pan (Robbie Kay) who has lured him away from home in the Enchanted Forest. Unlike most of this season’s Neverland scenes, Once Upon a Time filmed this earlier encounter with Pan in the abandoned rock quarry at North Vancouver’s Greenwood Park, not on its vast sets in studio.
Crew let me walk a short way into the park after dark to photograph the lights in the trees. You could hear the whoops of the “Lost Boys” echoing around the neighbourhood.
