There’s nothing worse than a vengeful pirate with dark magic. #OnceUponATime returns Sunday with an all-new episode. https://t.co/Y3aw7W16Fa

Did anyone anticipate that Hook would become a second Dark One? I didn’t.
When Once Upon a Time filmed this Sunday’s Dark Hook versus Mr. Gold/Rumplestiltskin sword fight on the floating Jolly Roger barge in Steveston in mid-October, I thought Hook holding Excalibur was the big spoiler and withheld those photos. I didn’t notice the two names — Killian Jones and Emma Swan — on the sword. Unfortunately, a group hacked my site and made this photo public that night to be dissected by Once Upon a Time fans around the world. Not much gets by these super sleuths. Someone has since traced the hack for me, fixed the leak and blocked those IP addresses.

But back to the new Dark One. We can see in the new teaser that Dark Hook has regressed to the vengeful pirate, vanquishing the Crocodile and piercing him with Excalibur.
Dark Hook defeats Rumple.
Dark Hook.
What a contrast to the real-life actors. During rehearsals and between takes, Colin O’Donoghue and Robert Carlyle had fun play fighting.
