It began Christmas 1996 with a 911 call about young pageant princess JonBenet (Payton Lepinski) found beaten and strangled in the family basement. Detective Steve Thomas (Eion Bailey) led the investigation. Were her parents Patsy (Julia Campbell) and John (Michael Gill) responsible? Did they cover for someone else in the family? Was it a kidnapping gone wrong? Or the work of a predator on the pageant circuit? Twenty years later the murder is unsolved.
The TV movie starts filming today and is expected to wrap August 24th (date subject to change).
