Gillian Anderson has said this is it for her and special agent Dana Scully.
The X-Files creator Chris Carter directed the finale which bookends the show’s second event series — this time with 10 new episodes.
Who’s in it?
FBI agents Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) and Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson) of course. FBI Assistant Director Walter Skinner (Mitch Pileggi). Mulder’s villainous Dad, Cigarette-Smoking Man (William B. Davis). Duplicitous agent Monica Reye (Annabeth Gish), Conservative talk show host Tad O’Malley (Joel McHale) and many others.
Is Scully’s son William there?
Chris Carter, David Duchovny and William B. Davis in North Vancouver for seasson 11 finale.

As with much of season 11 of The X-Files, little to nothing of the finale was filmed in public.
The X-Files season 11 starts airing January 3rd on FOX in the U.S. and CTV in Canada.
