Normally, at the end of a film, I’m outta there so fast, there’s a Ryan-sized hole in the wall. But not this time… as The Adam Project winds down. — Ryan Reynolds.

Netflix movie The Adam Project is winding down in Vancouver.

The Adam Project had its final Q&A last week with the Group Effort Initiative — the Ryan Reynolds-financed diversity and inclusion program that aims to give people of colour a chance to work and learn on the actor’s productions.

There are other signs production is winding down.

Mark Ruffalo, who plays Ryan Reynolds’s Dad in the time-travelling movie, was awarded a Golden Globe last night for his performance on I Know This Much Is True and it looked like he accepted from his home in New York not on location in Vancouver.

The Adam Project started filming in Vancouver in mid-November.

Filming dates: November 16th to March 8th, 2021.

Adam Reed (Walker Scobell), age 12, and still grieving the sudden death of his father a year earlier, walks into his garage one night to find a wounded pilot hiding there. This mysterious pilot (Ryan Reynolds) turns out to be the older version of himself from the future, where time travel is in its infancy. He has risked everything to come back in time on a secret mission.

Together they must embark on an adventure into the past to find their father (Mark Ruffalo), set things right, and save the world. 

Working together, both young and grown Adam come to terms with the loss of their father and have a chance to heal the wounds that have shaped them. Adding to the challenge of the mission, the two Adams discover they really don’t like each other very much, and if they’re going to save the world, they’re first going to have to figure out how to get along.
