The Flash’s gold boots are coming in Part 5 of its Armageddon event.
Grant Gustin ran by a fan in downtown Vancouver on October 8th in his suit with the new gold boots. Something DC Comics fans have asked for since The CW series debuted eight seasons ago .

The news became official a week later at DC FanDome on October 16th.
[The gold boots have] always been the final element that . . .has been missing from our suits. I’ve loved all the versions of The Flash suit we’ve had on the show. The suit we have now…is the closest to the many iterations you see in the comic books — with the exception of those gold boots. I’ve always felt that those boots would be the final touch. — Grant Gustin.
