Melanie Cavill (Jennifer Connelly) took back control of Snowpiercer over what she called Andre Layton (Daveed Diggs)’s Big Lie about New Eden.
But after agreeing to an alliance with Wilford (Sean Bean) Melanie double-crossed him.
Instead she and Layton decide to let people choose for themselves between two options: the safety of remaining aboard a deteriorating Snowpiercer or the risk of journeying to an unproven New Eden aboard Big Alice.
Big Alice finds new Eden.
Three months later aboard Snowpiercer, Melanie faces a new threat. A missile strike.
