PERCY JACKSON AND THE OLYMPIANS at Simon Fraser University as St. Louis Gateway Arch

British Columbia’s Simon Fraser University plays the base of the St. Louis Gateway Arch in episode 4 of Disney+’s Percy Jackson and the Olympians..

Based on Rick Riordan’s best-selling book series, Percy Jackson and the Olympians tells the story of a 12-year-old modern demigod, Percy Jackson (Walker Scobell), who’s just coming to terms with his newfound divine powers when the sky god Zeus accuses him of stealing his master lightning bolt. With help from his friends Grover (Aryan Simhadri) and Annabeth (Leah Sava Jeffries), Percy must embark on an adventure of a lifetime to find it and restore order to Olympus.

The main trio — Walker Scobell as Percy Jackson, Aryan Simhadri as satyr Grover and Leah Sava Jeffries as Annabeth — end up in St. Louis in episode 4 where they take refuge from the mother of monsters Echidna and her Chimera in The Museum at the Gateway Arch played by the space under Simon Fraser University’s Rotunda.

The Museum at the Gateway Arch celebrates America’s pioneering spirit.
