Jewel Staite’s lawyer Abby Bianchi is ready to see more dysfunctional families in season 4 of Family Law now in production in Vancouver.
Abby’s own dysfunctional family is played by Zach Smadu (half-brother), Victor Garber (father) and Genelle Williams (half-sister).
Season 4 cast:
Set in Vancouver, Family Law follows lawyer and recovering alcoholic Abigail ‘Abby’ Bianchi (Jewel Staite) struggling to put her career and family back together after hitting rock bottom. As a condition of her probation, Abby was forced to work at her estranged father’(Victor Garber)’s firm, Svensson and Associates, and practice in family law for the first time while forging new relationships with the half-brother (Zach Smadu) and half-sister (Genelle Williams).
Season 3:
Clear of her probation and divorce, Abby (Jewel Staite) is riding high at Svensson & Svensson, but the hard work of reckoning with her past is just beginning,. She moves on to AA’s Step Four — writing her moral inventory — and begins her nesting arrangement with Frank (Luke Camilleri).On her off weeks, she still lives with her mother Joanne (Lauren Holly), whose rekindled relationship with Harry (Victor Garber) is churning up all of Abby’s childhood trauma.
Season 3 is currently airing on The CW on Wednesday nights and will premiere in Canada later this year.
