NBC’s new medical show Dr. Wolf, starring Zachary Quinto as an Oliver Sacks-style neurologist, starts filming in Toronto.

Dr. Wolf follows a revolutionary, larger-than-life neurologist, Dr. Oliver Wolf (Zachary Quinto), and his team of interns as they explore the last great frontier, the human mind, while also grappling with their own relationships and mental health.
The pilot shot in Toronto last Spring and the series is expected to premiere in the Fall.

Zachary Quinto plays obsessive genius Dr. Wolf, head of neurology at Bronx General, who’s drawn to people society has deemed as “other” and helps them find hope and purpose.
Teddy Sears plays Dr. Josh Nichols, a neurosurgeon who left a private practice in San Francisco to work at Bronx General and relies on technology to treat his patients — the opposite of Wolf.
Tamberla Perry plays Dr. Carol Pierce, the head of psychology at Bronx General and Wolf’s longtime friend.
