Season 2 of Netflix’s Avatar: The Last Airbender has cast Miya Cech as Earthbender Toph, after an open search.
TOPH is sassy, confident and unfiltered. For most of her life, her strength and formidable earth bending skills have been suppressed, but now on the run as the Avatar’s earth bending master she is uninhibited to become the fierce warrior she believes she is inside.
We get a glimpse of her feet in a production teaser.
Earlier today, we learned that the first season of Avatar: The Last Airbender racked up 71 million views on Netflix in the first half of 2024.
