Justin Hartley and Jensen Ackles reunite as the Shaw brothers early in season 2 of CBS’s hit series Tracker, when Russell searches for Colter who’s gone missing on a job.
Tracker follows Colter Shaw (Justin Hartley), a lone-wolf survivalist who roams the country as a reward seeker, using his expert tracking skills to help private citizens and law enforcement solve all manner of mysteries while contending with his own fractured family.

Reenie (Fiona Rene) recruits Russell Shaw (Jensen Ackles) for help after Colter (Justin Hartley) suddenly disappears during his search for a missing father.
Jensen Ackles took time out from his very busy schedule prepping his now-filming Amazon Prime Video series Countdown in Los Angeles to fly up to Vancouver for three days on set — some of it driving on Langley back roads in Russell’s convertible classic muscle car (a nod to the Supernatural star’s Dean Winchester and his 1967 Impala aka Baby. While it’s no Impala and has a soft top instead of a hard top, Russell’s car is one that Dean would appreciate).

There’s more to learn about Colter’s family.. When we met Colter in season one, he believed that his older brother Russell had caused their father’s death 20 years before but in the second-to-last episode, Russell convinced him someone else was responsible.. And we’ll learn that Russell has very different memories of something that happened in their past.
