Resident Alien, starring Alan Tudyk, came to an end last night after four seasons and 44 episodes with Harry the alien leaving Earth from Minaty Bay in British Columbia as Patience, Colorado.

Showrunner Chris Sheridan worked out the production schedule so that the goodbye scene in the series finale was shot on the last day of production with almost everyone there in Minaty Bay at Harry’s cabin set to wave farewell to their favourite alien.
From the moment [the alien who became] Harry Vanderspeigle crash-landed on Earth, he was infected by humanity: our fear and pettiness… but, more importantly, our kindness and inherent need for connection. Nobody is an island — especially on Resident Alien.

Harry’s human friends in Patience gathered at the cabin to say goodbye to their resident alien as Harry left Earth to live with his one true love Heather.
Will we see them again? Maybe in a movie.

Resident Alien filmed Harry’s cabin exteriors at a set constructed at Minaty Bay on the Sea to Sky Highway and the cabin interiors in studio..
Ladysmith on Vancouver Island played Main Street in Patience most of the time, but Fort Langley, Ladner and other small towns on the mainland were convenient locations for the Colorado town, too.
