The popular Scrubs revival, starring Zach Braff, Sarah Chalke and Donald Faison, is back tonight with two new episodes.
Season 2 began production in Vancouver in the July sunshine.
And wraps this October.
What’s the Revival about?
JD and Turk scrub back in together — medicine has changed, interns have changed, but their bromance has stood the test of time. Characters new and old navigate the waters of Sacred Heart Hospital with laughter, heart and some surprises along the way.
What happened in season one?
J.D. (Zach Braff), divorced from Elliott (Sarah Chalke) after having two kids, returns to Sacred Heart Hospital where Elliot, Turk (Donald Faison) and Carla (Judy Reyes) still work.
J.D. and Turk fall right back into their bromance, re-enacting their signature “Eaaaaaagle!” move in the Sacred Heart halls .
Before collapsing on the floor in pain. They’re middle-aged men now.
And it’s awkward between the former spouses.
But after JD replaces Dr. Perry Cox (John C. McGinley) as Chief of Medicine it’s up to JD, Turk and Elliot to work together to lead and train the next generation of doctors at Sacred Heart Hospital.

What’s ahead in season 2?
Season 2 opens with JD turning to Turk and Elliot for help in treating Dr. Cox whose autoimmune illness hasn’t responded to treatment. Dr. Cox’s ex-wife Jordan (Christa Miller) butts in on his behalf.
Another major preoccupation for JD is his new love interest Charlie (Rachel Bilson) — his first serious relationship since his divorce from Elliot.
How does Eliot feel about JD moving on? Enter Elliot’s ex-boyfirend marine biologist Sean Kelly (Scott Foley) from the original series to her blushing delight.
Not to be outdone, Turk tries to spike up the romance in his marriage to Carla..
Other OG characters like Neil Flynn as the Janitor, Robert Maschio as Dr. Todd “The Todd” Quinlan and Johnny Kastl as the highly inept Dr. Doug Murphy recur.
Revival staff::
Intern Sam Tosh, (new series regular Ava Bunn.) has her own thing going on with fellow intern Asher Green (Jacob Dudman).
The other interns Blake Lewis (David Gridley), Amara Hadi (Layla Mohammadi) and Dashana Trainor (Amanda Morrow) are back too, but not in every episode.
As are hospital HR rep Sibby(Vanessa Bayer) and Nurse Dubois (Michael James Scott)
