The Last of Us’s Gabriel Luna and Young Mazino appear to be back in Vancouver and Bella Ramsey is returning later this summer, according to a profile in the Guardian.
Gabriel Luna’s Tommy Miller, Young Mazino’s Jesse and Bella Ramsey’s Ellie are part of the Jackson crew who travel to dystopian Seattle in season 2 to seek vengeance on Kaitlyn Dever’s Abby Anderson.
In the season 2 finale, the Jackson crew regroup in Seattle at the Pinnacle Theater, played by Vancouver’s Orpheum Theatre, after failing to find Abby but killing some of her friends..

An avenging Abby finds them instead, shooting Jesse in the lobby and threatening Ellie.

Season 3 will go back over these events, but from Abby’s perspective.
Is it time for Tommy and Jesse to saddle up for Seattle in season 3? Luna and Masino have been teasing us with cryptic footage of themselves on horseback.

What is The Last of Us?
The Last of Us takes place 20+ years after modern civilization has been destroyed by the Cordyceps fungal pandemic.
In season one, Joel (Pedro Pascal), a hardened survivor, was hired to smuggle Ellie (Bella Ramsey), a 14-year-old girl, out of an oppressive quarantine zone. What started as a small job soon became a brutal and heartbreaking journey as they traversed the U.S. and depended on each other for survival.
Season 2 picked up five years after the events of the first season, with Joel and Ellie living in Jackson, Wyoming but estranged by a lie. Joel’s brutal death at the hands of former Firefly Abby (Kaitlyn Dever) sent Ellie to Seattle on a path of vengeance against Abby and her Washington Liberation Front (WLF) crew.
Season 3 will change perspective, following Abby on her journey to a confrontation with Ellie.
Will that shift of perspective soften Abby, who is arguably the most-hated video game character of all time?
The fans are really going to like it, I think, the shifting perspective onto Abby, getting some more context onto her storyline and going back in time with this season. — — Kaitlyn Dever to Deadline: Hollywood.
Season 3 goes back in time to show us what shaped Abby – her father’s death and later an unlikely alliance with a young Seraphite called Lev.
