Anticipation for Disney+’s new Daredevil series has ramped up on the news that during the long strike-related pause on production the Marvel team scrapped the reboot to a lighter-hearted legal procedural and will revive the violent and gritty street-level heroics of the Netflix original.
Production restarts today in New York City with new showrunner Dario Scardspane from Netflix’s The Punisher series, acclaimed stunt coordinator Philip Silvera from Netflix’s original Daredevil series, Jon Bernthal who starred as Frank Castle aka the Punisher on the Netflix series and rumours that Deborah Ann Woll and Elden Hansen will reprise their roles as Karen Page and Foggy Nelson from the Netflix series.
