Season 7 of popular BC-filmed romance Virgin River — Netflix’s longest-running drama series –drops March 12th on the global streamer.
Virgin River follows Mel Monroe (Alexandra Breckenridge), a nurse and midwife who moves to the small California town from Los Angeles after her husband Mark dies. There she falls for restaurant/bar owner and former marine Jack Sheridan (Martin Henderson) and after a lot of complications the pair got married in the season 6 finale.

What’s Coming in Season 7:
How is the big season 6 cliffhanger resolved? Jack walked into his ex Charmaine’s house to ask why she skipped the wedding and found something horrifying off camera. Is Charmaine missing or murdered? Are the twins OK? Season 7 picks up two hours later, with no time jump and the twins are fine but we should be concerned about Charmaine.
The circumstances are messy, and Charmaine’s at the center of it, which is where she tends to typically find herself, in the middle of a mess, right? –showrunner Patrick Sean Smith to TV Insider
As for Mel and Jack, we will see their newlywed beginnings as a married couple and push them further along their path to parenthood. Will Mel and Jack adopt Marley’s baby?
The Brie-Mike-Brady love triangle also continues,. Mike proposed to Brie in the season 6 finale after making it clear he knew about Brie hooking up with her ex Brady. We don’t know how Brie responds. We do know how Lark responds — she swindled Brady out of his money and takes off.
There’s always going to be the Brady factor, and that’s what keeps the triangle alive in Season 7 is just both sides battling to see which one wins in the end. — Patrick Sean Smith to Swoon
We’ll also check in on other couples from Virgin River’s multiple generations of love stories.

Preacher (Colin Lawrence) and Kaia (Kandyse McClure not pictured); Doc (Tim Matheson) and Hope (Annette O’Toole) and Lizzie (Sarah Dugdale) and Denny (Kai Bradbury).
